"We loved our stay here. A beautiful, old style property with beautiful gardens, lovely old furnishings with lots of artwork on the walls. Phenomenal views from the rooftop area, which is sadly underutilized. Great lake views from many of the rooms. 20 minute walk into Stresa along a lovely walkway on the lake edge. Good breakfast as well. Highly recommended"

"Spa avdelningen var väldigt fin med stor pool och olika bastu. Härligt att kunna simma ut. Saknade dock bubbelpool. Frukosten var bra, fina faciliteter med skåp för skidor och pjäxor med värme. Skidbuss till backen. Mycket trevligt hotell för skidåkning! "

"Good location, very friendly staffs, shuttle bus drivers are very helpful. Good breakfasts and good daily dinners menus. Nice balcony can watch Matthorn sunrise . Only a 3 minutes walk to the bridge for sunrise view. 5 minutes walk to Matthorn glacier paradise cable car station."

"We were upgraded to the Porta Cervino hotel. The staff and service were excellent They went the extra mile to make guests welcome and comfortable. I have everything good to say about the staff service and the hotel amenities. From Thomas at the reception to the General Manager Yannic. Only wish they had air conditioning though it was cool at night do we opened the windows in the evening for a bit. Also, we visited during the peak of the heat wave in Europe. We dined at Il Borromeo 3 times & none of our dishes were hot nor prepared as ordered. They came out of the kitchen too quickly after ordering so we gathered they...
