Top Folly Beach Hotel Reviews
Water's Edge Inn - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"Our view was amazing, we were a very short walk from the beach (and an even shorter walk to the shops on main), and our hosts had many amenities we didn’t even know about from the booking. They provided happy hour drinks, fresh breakfast, free water bottles, and even golf cart rides to and from the beach. They were also incredibly kind and helpful any time we had questions. I wouldn’t change a single thing about our stay and will be coming back here next time I and my wife plan on coming back to Charleston."

"Beautiful property over looking the marsh. Great breakfast & happy hour. We enjoyed the quiet side of the island"
Riverside Inn and Cottages

"We went to the office to check-in and there was no staff around. I called the number on the board and texted letting them know that we have arrived and at the office waiting to check-in. There was a sign at the door saying that I should go my itinerary and the "messages" to see the messages sent to me. The don't know what they were talking about because I have the information I need to check-in and I didn't see any messages. Finally the lady working answered my phone and she said that she sent me information via text. I never got anything. She finally made it to the office and she texted me the information she was talking about, that's when I received it. Other than the waiting, the Inn was good and they have friendly staff."
Beachside Boutique Inn – Folly Beach Rooms & Private Cottages
10/10 Excellent
"Our trip was last minute and with my dog, and I was lucky enough to run across Boutique. The price is very reasonable for the location, especially for last minute and dog friendly. Rustic, charming B&B cottage two streets from Folly Beach. We stayed in the Little Annie room in the main building. Perfect for two and a dog. We even managed to fit the dog crate! Surprisingly quiet for a beach hotel in a holiday week, and no noise even from the other guests. Kat greeted us when we checked in. Super friendly and very casual vibe. The bed was incredibly comfy. Information provided with signage on all the various things like WiFi and the neighborhood. Adorable little tiki bar in the courtyard. This place would be perfect to rent for a group. Continental breakfast with danish, fruit, bagels, oatmeal, the standard. A Keurig with an huge variety of coffee, and the paper to read while you eat. Centrally located in the neighborhood and one street over from the pier. Tons of good, casual beach eating you can walk to if you don’t feel like driving to Charleston. Beach chairs and towels provided! Literally the only cons were the entrance steps being a little difficult for older folks with heavy luggage, and the mosquitoes, but Laura provides Off repellent for each room. They might consider fans for the outdoor areas, but otherwise that’s it. No other cons. We’ll definitely visit again!"
