"The room was pristine and so well-decorated, personal, warm, relaxing. The staff cannot do enough for you. Be prepared for a knockout breakfast (we learned a secret to those airy scrambled eggs, a dollop of sour cream). The dining room is completely windowed so the farm is always visible. There are places to sit and read, also well-decorated and relaxing. That is the leitmotif of this place -- relax. Then, enjoy. The fireplace was perfect for the chill of March. The cooking class was educational and just plain fun. Delicious, lusty Sicilian cooking by Chef Alba.We shall return.The room was 204 by the way."

"The staff was amazing! The breakfast was amazing! We saw a roach in room 231. The rooms were very clean however they looked like they needed to be upgraded. Outlets didn’t work. Poor paint job. Paint dropping through out. Great welcome/thank you bags . Unfortunately a dog pooped in the lobby and the owner did not pick it up. That is NOT a reflection on your establishment. I just can’t believe someone did that. Lol. I would recommend "

"The place needs to be renovated. They gave me a room with linen that looks like they got it from Salvation Army. I had to go to Walmart to get my own linen. I had to stay in the room only because I was close to the place I was visiting for the week. The picture on the website was misleading."

"Very clean, and all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The less than stellar review of for the usual things that make a stay unpleasant… Walls to thin and uninsulated from sound, I could literally hear one of my neighbors stirring something in a cup or glass, beyond being able to hear every word spoken, even at a normal conversational level… And the usual cleaning staff knocking on the door and waking me up an hour and a half before check-out time, then again an hour before check-out time. These two items alone ruin any stay. "
