"The hotel had no hot water. The restaurant does not have dinner Monday and they referred us to a restaurant in town where the food was very disappointing. It is hard to get into the hotel (gate - you have to call) and hard to get out (the gate again / hard to find the stand with the button to open it - why can’t the reception person point these out when you arrive? But the worst was no hot water.."

"Chambre impeccable. Cependant odeur d’humidité. Et bien trop chauffée. Pour le petit dej c’est dommage de devoir commander précisément la veille ce que l’on veut au petit déjeuner. Dommage que ça ne soit pas possible de petit déjeuner avant 7h30. Et dommage d’attendre ensuite la préparation de son petit dej. Quand on est pressés pas idéal."

"Lovely 3 star hotel in a great location, just a couple blocks from Place Comedie, is a quiet oasis The entire staff couldn’t be nicer and are all patient and gracious with my attempts to speak French. The breakfast is very nice too, with great coffee, delicious small pastries and local jams and honey. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends when visiting Montpelier "

"We just completed a marvelously pleasant stay at this hotel. We were finishing a one month circuit of western France and some of the hotels we stayed at were, well, kind of meh. This was a wonderful final stop. The hotel is linked via a parking deck which leads to a shopping mall, which leads to the Place Comedie which is the main pedestrian path in the old town center.
