Probably the coolest place to stay in Fort Bragg, if you’re into historic boutique hotels. We really appreciated the dog-friendly room, welcoming reception areas and walkable proximity to the historic downtown!

Amazing house in a great location. Loved our room and all the beautiful touches throughout the property. Check in was easy and our host was very kind and helpful. Don’t skip the cookies and the ballroom!

This is a gorgeous property. The main house is beautiful and the water tower rooms are great as well. We stayed in the tower, the abalone room. It was so fresh and clean, and soaps and lotions were heavenly. Linens were amazing and comfortable. The owner is super friendly and full of knowledge about the house and the history of the town. So accommodating, fresh baked cookies, tea and coffee in the reception area. A library was also available. The grounds are breathtaking and the view from the top of the tower is incredible. Highly recommend.

It’s definitely a unique stay and did enjoy the stay. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. One small thing was just the used fork on the glasses shelf. Other than that I really enjoyed the stay.

This is such a historic gem in Fort Bragg. Super walkable for downtown and glass beach and the property itself is incredible. More of a boutique location for sure but worth it if you’re into historic properties.

Beautiful, charming place with excellent period decor. The view from the top of the water tower is of several miles of coastline and the coastal path is just about 4 blocks away. Owner Jeff gave us great restaurant recommendations.

Beautiful views, comfy bed, and the workout coming and going to your room! Seaglass room in the water tower amazing! Don’t book if you do not like heights or stairs. Within walking distance to everything downtown.

The rooms were quaint and unique in there own ways. The staff are very very nice and helpful. There is fresh coffee & cookies at reception throughout the day. The facility outdoors as a whole seemed a tad bit unmaintained, but not unsightly. There are also basic amenities, ie. NO TV, NO iron, and for some reason we had no tea or regular coffee and cream in our room. Location for coastal activities and shops is however ideal.

It’s a charming one of a kind place for those who appreciate history and antiques. It’s also walking distance from trains, restaurants and minutes from the glass beach. You can hear the ocean one one side and steam engines from the other! Don’t forget to climb the tower, walk to Glass museum, and visit Piaci’s for awesome pizza and local hard cider!
