"Everything was great except the room wasn’t as clean as I expected. The tub had some grime in it and one of the towels had something still on it. It wasn’t a huge problem, just a little surprising. We didn’t ask for it to be fixed. We rinsed the tub and didn’t use that towel. Everything else was great. Good breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"The staff was amazingly friendly and nice. The staff was also very nice. The pool area, bar and restaurant was very clean and very welcoming. We had a great time relaxing in the hot tub with a drink from a great bartender. The room on the other hand was poor. It stunk like pet urine. It was hot and humid out so it made it worse. "Everything was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. They were having a technical difficulty at the front desk, but staff was right on top of it, and did a work around to keep guests from being inconvenienced. Plus, it was fixed by the time we returned from dinner. The breakfast was a bit sparse on fruit and protein options, but it was adequate. Also, I missed having a coffee maker in the room."

"We didn’t care for the strong cigarette smell walking through the lobby due to the casino. We live in a non smoking in public places state and the hotel wasn’t advertised as allowing smoking, so that was a negative for us. Had we known, we definitely would’ve chosen a different hotel. "Property was clean and staff very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is patch job on bathroom wall next to towel rod is in need of paint."

"Stayed during July. Lobby is great. Room was dank and smelled like mildew. Carpet was old and ripped so you could see the pad underneath. Windows were extremely old and not well insulated which caused the humidity to make the sheets and everything in the room feel damp like sleeping in a tent. There was a fitness room but no controlled access and no working ventilation which meant “no air” on a 90 degree day. I would probably not stay here again if given another opportunity."

"My teenage daughter and I had a really nice overnight stay. The indoor pool was great, especially with it raining outside. The fitness center was fun. Beds were super comfy and the A/C was a welcome respite from the heat wave!"

"Staff was welcoming and friendly. My error not to note that there is no breakfast included in the price. Our room was on the 4th floor and as soon as you got off the elevator is smelled like an institution. When you opened the door to our room it smelled like a nursing home. The bed frames are metal and everyone you turn or get out of bed you hear the bed make noise. Not a problem if there is only one person staying. For the money, I will not be choosing a Candlewood property again."

"I don't know were the issue was but I arrived , yes very late in the night 1 am or so, with a confirmed reservation and was turn away. Told there reservation was not in the system and they had no rooms.... very disappointed, I've stayed at this hotel many times and never had any issues...."

"We thought it had a continental breakfast and it doesn’t. The pool was under construction and no one told us that the pool was under construction or that you had to pay for your breakfast."

Towels were stained and worn, time to be replaced. Water pressure could have been a little stronger. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again."
