"When looking at your GPS for the place do NOT type in the address ...it'll take u to a dirt road. Type the name of the place. We were allowed to check in an hour early. It's nice and quiet. Everything was clean and working. Se habla espanol!"

"Love it! The beds were super comfy. The place is super clean and it was very quite the breakfast was delicious. Also it didn't have smoke smell or other odors like other brand hotels. It is family friendly also. I love that they had shampoo, conditioner and lotion brand name dove in a good size verse those little tiny barbie bottles lol. Will try to stay again in this hotel. Plus the parking lot is well lighted up. Also no carpet inside the rooms is a plus."

High Frontier

High Frontier

8/10 Good
"There was a small mouse on two occasions. No sign of infestation but the owner needs to make sure mice can not get in Bunkhouses. Not really unexpected to see a mouse because the setting is in the middle of a natural area on a ranch but owner needs to follow up before it becomes an issue Other than the mouse everything about the Bunkhouse was very good-clean, well set up, comfortable, amenities good. We would return for another stay at the High Frontier"

The Lincoln Marfa

The Lincoln Marfa

10/10 Excellent
"I stayed in Room #5. It was a very nice room as well as comfortable. We visited Marfa for the Marfa Lights Festival. These rooms at Lincoln are right in the heart of the event. Maybe too close because the stage music started at 8:00am. So we couldn’t sleep in. Regardless the property is situated with walking distance to several coffee shops and restaurants. The only issue I found with room #5 was the shower head. There was plenty of hot water but the stream of water coming out of the shower head was like standing under a water hose. Bathtub needs a new shower head. The only disappointment I had was the town of Marfa. The Lincoln property is great, don’t get me wrong. However the town has changed so much. I lived in Marfa from 1992 to 1999 and the town has unfortunately changed for the worse. So if you have to visit Marfa I highly recommend the Lincoln property."

"Excellent location on the Main Street in town. Room was very spacious, clean had a nice courtyard. Nice amenities and comfortable bed & pillows. Very close to Davis Mountains State Park where we enjoyed hiking two days. Wish more of the restaurants, shops and coffeehouses were open."
