"We had a wonderful vacation at the Beachcomber Resort! The hotel staff, from check-in to the restaurant, pool and beach attendants, bartenders, etc. were friendly and solicitous. The grounds were beautiful, with two pools and a recreation area with cornhole and ping-pong. It was cool the first two days of our stay, but we still enjoyed a swim in the pool which was heated to about 80 degrees. We enjoyed happy hour at the bar every night along with the musical entertainment. The food was great at the bar and at Deep restaurant. The view from our balcony was awesome, overlooking the resort and the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is older, and while the rooms have been renovated and are very comfortable, the bathroom is dated but has been refreshed and is compact and efficient with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. The Beachcomber is an oasis in the midst of condominium row and had a more intimate, community vibe rather than that of a hotel chain. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!"
