Ocean Surf Resort

"We were a late arrival and staff was so helpful and patient with teaching us how to access our room past check-in hours. We had a poolside room with some of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever been in, sheets that smelled so crisp and clean, tons of pillows, a very nice bathroom with the best smelling hotel shower gel I’ve ever used, the space heater was on which made coming into the room feel toasty and welcoming too! Because we got there so late I was exhausted and asked staff if we could stay a bit past check out time for rest and they were happy to accommodate. And the view! Once we walked out our room to the pool all we had to do was look to the right and the beach was right in front of us. We were able to relax on the comfortable cushioned lounge chairs to eat a breakfast snack before packing up and getting ready to leave. Parking was a bit tricky as they ran out of spots but we were able to get a spot on the street right across from the hotel so no big deal. Overall it was a much-needed respite from a busy weekend and I will definitely be making this an annual tradition to stop by in the fall!"

"I absolutely loved my stay at Breakers Montauk. The room was very clean. The location was perfect- cross the street and you’re at the beach! Such a gorgeous view of the expansive ocean and the beautiful dunes. It’s also just a 15 minute walk to some delicious restaurants. I recommend brunch at The Bird and dinner at Alimentari. The intentionality of the design is obvious. They provide a lot in a perfect amount of space. I especially loved that they had beach chairs which could be carried on your back like a backpack with a small cooler pouch built into the chair. Then they’d equipped each chair with bottle openers! Also love that they have bikes for guests to borrow. They’ve really thought of everything."

"Stayed in Room #101 in June 2026. Due to flight & traffic delays (thank you, FIFA), I couldn't make it to the property until nearly midnight. Front office guy (Sadik?) stayed a FEW hours past his usual time so that I could check into my room. He was AMAZING! Many reviewers complain about the minimalist decor of the rooms but it was exactly what I needed! No TV. No alarm clock. PERFECT ocean view. Good WIFI when I needed it. The mattress, pillows & linens were the best I've ever experienced. I'm a "room snob" accustomed to paying at least $1000/night for a room. I've never slept in a more comfortable bed than the one at Marram Montauk! I've already ordered the mattress & linens for my own home. If you need lots of tech for your vacation, this is not the place for you. The surroundings are small-town precious and the views can't be beat. I love this place and can't wait to go back!"
