When we booked, no one mentioned that the entire floor and amenities had been reserved out by a private group for Shabbos which completely ruined our weekend. "we booked a room for 4 people with two beds, and they gave us 2 towels, when we asked for more they did not have any and said they ran out of towels. next day we asked again, and got a lot of attitude about asking for an extra 2 towels when we booked it for 4 people."

"The place is undergoing renovations. The main entrance wasn’t working, there were boxes in the hallways with air conditioning units waiting to be put in, etc. But our room was clean and it was quiet at night so it served our purpose during the visit. Staff was always friendly. Having an attached restaurant was a plus!"

"The walls are paper thin, we heard every door slam shut, people in the hallways, very hard time sleeping. Housekeeping came at 9:30 am, I answered the door and the lady saw that i was half asleep and kind of walked away. Security knocked on our door to let us know if we didn’t want to be bothered, have the sign up of do not disturb. I was confused because we literally checked in the night before and didn’t expect housekeeping to come already. I also did not say one word to the housekeeping lady...

"I have had the experience of staying in numerous hotels previously, but unfortunately, the Stamford Suite fell short of expectations, particularly given its location in a city with a high cost of living. My disappointment was palpable. In contrast to the superior accommodations I encountered in some Third World countries, the Stamford Suite left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the front desk personnel failed to greet me, and when I expressed gratitude for the key, I wasn't acknowledged....

"I was supposed to stay for the week, I checked in and 20 minutes later checked out. Rooms are disgusting. There’s basically no lights in the rooms or the bathroom, and window is covered by a huge blanket. The AC is in the window and has what looks like mold. My phone was in SOS the entire time I was on the property, even though I tried several times to connect to the internet. Extremely dangerous. There are several notes that the hotel is not responsible for items and cash taken from your car...

"Property was clean but a little dated. Extremely small older model tv with no movie channels. We were there on a Sunday and the bar was barely open. The location was good for the district venue for the show we were seeing. Pool looked clean."

"Very nice hotel, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, beds were very comfortable. The ambiance created by the hotel design was relaxing. The rooftop was a nice surprise. The only negative was that the listing said beach access and it was not by the beach. However downtown Norwalk and the beach area is less than a 10 minute drive. Will be returning."

"This is my third or fourth night staying here in a couple of months. Generally it’s fine for the money. Bare bones. Nice beds. Comfortable. But this last time, the TV remote only worked if I was 3 inches away from the TV and the hot water took about 10 minutes to warm up in the evening. It warmed up right away in the morning."
