"This property is in a quiet area away from the busy Assisi streets, but with stunning views of the UNESCO World Heritage site from below. Our host, Andrea, was very welcoming and friendly and provided helpful advice regarding parking and restaurants in the town. "I've stayed here quite a few times, so that speaks for itself. The pool is the big asset plus the views across the valley. It's a bit of a trek up to Assisi itself - about 15 minutes up hill on a road with traffic. If you don't have a car, you need to plan carefully. You can get drinks and basic lunch at the house. It is rustic and that will either frustrate you slightly or charm you. Good price, idyllic setting - I just wish there was a bus or shuttle going up to the town. Very friendly new...
