"The rooms and the lobby were fine, but the hallways were very rundown, the doors were old and hard to open, and the room itself could have been cleaner. Outside of the hotel was really rough too - I almost didn't want to stay. The parking lot looked deserted. Also...no secure wifi????"

"Terrible experience. If I could provide no stars I would do it. It should not be labeled as a luxury hotel there is nothing luxurious about it. Staff were rude and unhelpful. We were denied a late check-out request, which is acceptable it’s not guaranteed. However, the “manger” that was consulted by front desk staff was not even in the office he alleged. As we passed the office and saw no one in the office through the window. Just say we can’t accommodate you and that’s it. Nonetheless,...

"The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive."

"Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. At end of day rush hour a bit noisy from the busy street/intersection. Room could use a thorough cleaning and some updates. Older mattress well past its' useful life.
