"Nice place and walking distance to some restaurants."

"This is our second time staying at Dry Dock Inn and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel is a short walk from the boardwalk and local shops. There is also a Lake park nearby. They have 2 outdoor pools and a small game room. The front desk staff let us check in when we arrived since our room was ready. They also allow late checkout for a reasonable fee. We will be back to Dry Dock Inn for our next trip to Carolina Beach."

"Room was clean Close to everything Right on beach Is a older motel room. But very comfortable"

"MOLD. We are a family of 4 with one small child and a baby. When we were getting ready for bed, we discovered a large amount of mold on the ceiling. We notified the host who offered other accommodations that would require us to be split into different rooms. We opted for a refund and took the long journey home that same night. That was 2 months ago and still no refund. Location is good though"

"The bolt lock on the door did not work. Water pressure on the 2nd floor would almost be nonexistent if water was being used below in the first floor room. Ice machine did not work. No hand towels in the room."

"We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family."

"The staff were excellent, continental breakfast, pet friendly, popcorn @ night, 12 mins from Oak Island without all the salt to rust my truck. Plenty of places around the motel to go eat, do, very clean, quiet"

"I was very happy with my stay here. No complaints at all. My daughter and I went to a show at the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, and this was the perfect place to stay."
