Comfortable room with great breakfast

Very spacious, clean and comfortable room with private bathroom in a historic estate. The complementary breakfast buffet was fantastic. Although this hotel is located right beneath the takeoff path of Frankfurt airport, it didn't bother us.

We tried to have dinner in the formal dining area and the lady was so RUDE! She threw the menu at us and instead of seating us at a set table, she put us at an empty table with no cutlery or anything away from everyone else, so we left the property to eat

durchaus gewollt ... aber nicht gekonnt !

an einigen Stellen mit Renovierung begonnen ... aber leider nicht durchgängig Heizung im Zimmer lässt sich nicht abstellen, dafür gibt es morgens in der Dusche kein warmes Wasser 2 Restaurant - aber keines geöffnet keine Bar oder andere Gelegenheit sich wie in einem Hotel üblich mit Geschäftsgästen zusammenzusetzen Umgebung unsicher - seltsame Gestalten mit Schnapsflaschen eher ein Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für Bauarbeiter etc Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption ist freundlich, kann aber letztlich nichts ausrichten.

Schöne Unterkunft mit hübschem Zimmer, teilweise findet aber noch ein Umbau statt und es riecht stark nach Zigarettenrauch. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist allerdings hervorragend und hat eine sehr gute Auswahl! Auf dem Parkplatz müssten die extremen Schlaglöcher aufgefüllt werden.

The place needs an elevator to take luggage up to the next floor. We are older, mid-70s, and there was no one to help with the luggage. The staircase is round and not easy. The entrance, driveway and parking lots are not paved, muddy and with lots of pot holes. Otherwise, it was a charming place.

It was located about 15mins away from the international airport. The hotel is very lovely. We enjoyed the beauty and breakfast very much. Receptionist was very kind and friendly.

When checking in the receptionist could not figure out whether the bill was prepaid or not.The room was clean but sparse. Shower drain was blocked, toilet seat broken. Driveway in front of hotel full of potholes that gathered water after rain and it was not illuminated.

Wir haben das Zimmer kurzfristig gebucht, als Zwischenstopp einer Flugreise. Das Zimmer war wohl nicht fertig saniert. Ein Fenster wurde während unserer Anwesenheit von einem angetrunkenen Handwerker mit mehreren Schrauben zugeschraubt, da der Fenstergriff fehlte. Das neue Fenster hätte man schon vor 2 Monaten bestellt. Die Sitzmöbel aus Kunstleder und Badamaturen völlig abgewonht. In den Ecken Spinnweben, die dort schon länger angesiedelt waren. Positiv war das Frühstück , waren sehr überrascht, vielfältig und schmackhaft.

Hotel ist ein echtes Refugium im Rhein-Main-Gebiet. Das Zimmer war frisch renoviert, mit bequemen Betten ausgestattet und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in unserem Fall wirklich unschlagbar.

Es handelt sich um fast 300 Jahre alte Barockgebäude eines ehemaligen Jagdschlosses, dessen Gästehäuser im Zuge einer denkmalerhaltenden Restaurierung ihrer ursprünglichen Bestimmung wieder zugeführt werden. Sehr authentisch. Freundliche Rezeptionistinnen. Frühstück mit hervorragendem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für Hotelgäste. Abends kein durchgehender Restaurantbetrieb

Not the greatest stay

A bit smelly and old. Right by the airport, so a lot of noise from the planes. The curtains couldnt close properly, so the light woke us up super early. Breakfast was okay, but our kids orange juice was fermented and tasted really bad and boozy. Not the best stay overall, sad to say. Pretty cheap though.

Good option at Frankfurt Airport

Nice hotel with a great historic feel not far from the Frankfurt airport. We had a nice spacious room. The breakfast was very good, big variety and good tasting food. Reception service was very courteous. A bus station right outside is convenient.
