"The room looked like an old hotel, there was dust particles on the night stands next to the bed, behind the nightstands there was crumbs and dust which was completely visible. The bed sheets had hair and lint in it. There was crumbs and dirt along the edges of the box spring and frame. You can visibly see it. When you open up the bed sheets. There was stains on the carpet. The shower pressure was low. The extra door lock on the room was loose. There were stains on the walls and ceiling.
We went to front desk and asked to switch rooms. The lady was kind and gave us keys without hesitation. We went to the next room on the other side of the hotel and this room was the same way. But to add some of the lights in that room were flickering like they needed to be changed so I went back to front desk and told them I’ll just keep the same room.
I’d thought I’d sit in the hot tub in the pool area, but the hot tub only had 5inch of water in it, there was a garbage can next to it full of pink insulation sticking out of the can. Which is a safety hazard to have that open where people walk by to try to enter the pool. The elevator wasn’t working. I had lots of luggage with me because I was flying back home in the morning. None of this was showing on the pictures when I booked my room. It did not say the place was under renovations.
I would have switched hotels, but I didn’t have the extra money to check into another hotel plus to be moving my luggage at night, I had an early flight "
