I took this room based off other reviews. While we slept comfortably in the room, there was an obvious odor when we first walked into the room. That is my only complaint. It was a noticeable unpleasant odor. I told the clerk downstairs as we left, and her comment was 'it is probably the air conditioner unit'. Breakfast was available though we did not eat there. Just a quick overnight stopover before heading home.

The desk worker was very nice and welcoming. Even remembered me from my previous stay. Found the room to be quite clean. Also, was happy to see the outside was well maintained. The last time I was there it appeared it wasn’t being taken care of.

We had a pleasant stay ,breakfast was wonderful. Room was comfortable and quiet. Sam, at the front desk went out of his way to accommodate us. Do be aware that there are recycling bins everywhere, including in the rooms, but this La Quinta does not recycle, even though the city of Dumas has an active recycling service😳🙃

Stayed with my wife and son for a few days, staff was very nice. Room was nice and clean when we arrived. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Overall great experience. Our only bad experience was the parking. By 7:30 the parking lot was all ready

Indoor pool/friendly staff - best feature. But the hotel is ‘tired’ and feels dirty. Room: 214 - door to room does not completely shut, door/door frames needs a good wipe down; everything smelled clean, but all linen were stained - yellow, brown, and more. Curtains in room also had stains; shower curtain also had stains.

Room was dingy. Half of the floor boards ripped off. Stains on curtains, bedding and tub. Towels have seen better days. Poor attempt at updating some items in the room. Staff was courteous and public areas looked cleaned. Bedrooms a disappointment.
