"The property and room were clean, beds comfortable, desk staff were super friendly and helpful, great location. The pool closed at 9 pm which seemed too early. We didn't get to use the hot tub because we arrived too late. Parking is a challenge due to the odd layout and no rear exit. We would stay again."

"Location is great for convenient walk to downtown or quick drive to the Boardwalk. Lobby has a friendly, fun, seemingly quintessential Santa Cruz vibe with art installations, games, drinks, fresh dog treats, and friendly staff. The pool and hot tub area have plenty of room for multiple guests to use until 10pm, unlike most hotels in Santa Cruz. There were a lot of kids this holiday weekend, but we’ve been here when there were more adults as well. Staff are available everywhere, but never hovering. We enjoyed the breakfast twice. They made all of our dishes with gluten free substitutions and separated other allergens for us, so we could enjoy eggs Benedict, French toast, and an egg sandwich (which is a rarity, so this was such a win!!) The room was comfortable, beds were great. The fan/AC in our room could use a tuneup, as it felt like the moisture in the air didn’t fully dry after showers and hanging wet beach towels in the bathroom. We’ll be back."

"I was traveling with my dog, so was not able to use the pool or hot tub, but I found the room to have everything I needed. The bed was comfy, the TV was easy to figure out, wifi easy to connect, I liked the soap, tissues, lighted mirror, there was even a steamer in the closet. The temperature was also easy to adjust. My only complaint was the nightlight in the open sink area lit up the room when I wanted darkness and there was no way to turn it off. I had dinner in the restaurant and found the outdoor seating area by the fountain to be very pleasant. Staff were helpful. The location was also convenient for my scoping out nearby beaches. I would return to this hotel in the future! They have two EV chargers, but only one was working and it needs a new cover."
