Now, hotels and taxis come very expensive in Munich, especially within the city centre, so we went with one of Munichs Holiday In Expresses, their large one located on the west side. Balanced with cost, this hotel is perfectly located next to Hirschgarten train station. Easily reached by the Sl or S8 metro from the city or airport. Check in was friendly and helpful. Room was basic but functional. Shower was great, bed comfy, safe and TV...

"The staff was so fun and friendly. We got a free meat and cheese board at the restaurant and glass of prosecco. There were also 4 beers, 2 cokes, and two waters in the mini fridge that they told us were also free. Plus the breakfast spread was delicious. If I go back to Munich I'll definitely stay there again. "
