"We loved this hotel. It is just a 20 minute walk, and five minutes on transit from the main touristy district. We prefer not to be right in the center of the tourist district, because the restaurants are all a rip off, and it is noisy. The Up Hotel has lots of little shops and cafes around it that locals use. "Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet, das Frühstücksbuffet mehr als ausreichend. Der Poolbereich war sauber, lediglich die Öffnungszeiten der Bar bis 22:00 könnte länger sein. Besonders beeindruckend fand ich die Freundlichkeit des Personals, besonders Lola hat uns so herzlich begrüßt und und geduldig alles notwendige erklärt - das ist wirklich außergewöhnlich!!! Wir haben uns jederzeit sehr wohl gefühlt."

"The hotel is in a good location for transit- close to Octagon. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Rooms are very nice with modern amenities- great shower. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was the less than enthusiastic front desk and breakfast staff. They were fine- but not welcoming or enthusiastic to make your stay special. Overall a really good hotel at a moderate price point. Would recommend for sure."

"Stayed near the Oktagon, and they have excellent windows. It was cool enough to keep them closed at night and despite being on a busy street, it was quiet. Rooms appear to be recently renovated and clean. The hotel is conveniently located on major transit routes. Neumi, one of the friendly receptionists, was extremely helpful with valuable information about transit, attractions and travel beyond Budapest. A great place to centre your vacation in Budapest. 35 euros for a cab from the airport."

"Stories hotel is centrally located on the Pest side. Easy walk to public transportation to get to farther destinations. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff is extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to book a room at the Stories Boutique Hotel again."
