"Good position, helpful staff, near local shops. Some areas in hotel a little tired particularly carpets although clean. Parking may be a problem in height of season."

"I love the old feel of the hotel. There's a ballroom and a stage which adds to the character. Because it's old that means there are low ceilings and quirky room set ups. However the location to the promenade is really good. I think it's excellent value for the location"

"Fantastic location and good entertainment. Very poor tv reception- very limited channels available. I found one of the reception staff very unhelpful unfortunately."
