"My mom and I had such a wonderful experience here this weekend. Brian made us feel right at home upon our arrival and helped us with our bags. The inn is beautifully decorated and well maintained. We enjoyed learning about the history of the home and its connections to Ulysses Grant. Our rooms were meticulously prepared and cozy. For breakfast, we both agreed the lemon ricotta pancakes and carrot ginger tea cake were delicious! Thank you, Brian, David and David’s mom for hosting us. We were sad to leave, but will be back in the fall! Meredith & Julia"

"The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was lacking. The hot tub was cold. I let staff know and they didn’t do anything about it. I called down a few hours later and a different staff person had it taken care of in 10 minutes. Too late by then to use it. "

"Room is spacious, clean, and simply but tastefully decorated. Views from the room of the surrounding countryside captured the rustic simplicity of a peaceful sunset. "

"The hotel was very nice and the communication from them leading up to the stay was excellent. I didn't like the fact that we couldn't control the room temperature ourselves, we had to text the owner to raise or lower the heat, and it was cold for awhile in the room when we arrived. Also, the location is not as close to the main street as described in the overview -- more than a block to the main street where shop and restaurants are. Also, street noise during the night was loud, as it is on the main drag through town. "
