"Terrible experience. Pools and hot tubs are small and overcrowded. They state in the advertisement that pools are heated…they are not. It was concerning to me as well that there is no lifeguard on duty at any of the pools…and parents were not watching their kids. Very dangerous.
We paid extra for a hot tub…it was disgusting. There was black mold all over the place on the tub and coming out of the jets, a piece was broken off the tub… and the bottom of the tub was dark grey with a yellow substance that it looked like they were covering a hole or something. It was like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We had to wear flip flops in the tub it was so disgusting. We could not even use it. (See pics below).
At the end of the stay we were responsible for removing the sheets, placing the towels in the tub. Basically cleaning the room. I have never stayed at a “resort” where you were responsible for getting your replacement towels and toilet paper. You had to go to a little hut for this. No daily maid service. Then at the end of the trip you were responsible for taking out your own trash.
The entire trip I kept getting calls hounding me to be a part of the Stillwater’s Family which is basically a timeshare. Overall, not a good place to stay. We were not impressed."
