"Great location in the centre of Aberdeen. Welcoming staff. Very comfortable, clean and modern room, super quiet. While we didn’t take advantage of it as we were near the end of our trip, the onsite laundry including soap was a great extra amenity. Nice breakfast"

"No amenities and no one to speak with. I received text messages & messages through Expedia from hotel, yet when I reached out in this same fashion there was no response. The property is clean. Somewhat noisy area, although close to most things. Not truly a hotel. "

"Front the minute I arrived it was so refreshing. Staff were chatty and so helpful. The room was spacious, spotless and had the most amazing view. The air conditioning could have been a bit stronger but that was minor. The addition of the fridge in the room was great to keep my drinks cool. So many hotels at this price don't do this. Another minor gripe was the occasional stale/cigarette smell in the lift/corridor areas but inside the room and social areas it was not an issue. I can't rate...

"The Mercure is an older and I suspect much grander hotel at one time. It has a sense of opulence about it with wide staircases, high ceilings and stained glass windows, however there are also signs of aging, i.e. worn carpets, old windows. I think it adds to the charm. The breakfast staff were very attentive and pleasant. Breakfast was typical fare, with adequate choices available. My room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. "Das Zimmer war absolut sauber und schön. Im Bad gibt es teilweise Schimmel an den Fugen in der Dusche, was wir aber nicht sonderlich tragisch fanden. Ansonsten war die Sauberkeit nämlich perfekt. Das Bett und die Kissen waren unglaublich gemütlich. Ich hab geschlafen wie ein Baby. Obwohl die Zimmer direkt über dem dazugehörigen Pub liegen, hat uns der Geräuschpegel gar nicht gestört. "The stay at the park in was ok. The curtains in the room were insufficient. With daylight at 4am, the whole room was lit up and made it hard to sleep. I was going to bring up this issue at check out, but was not even asked how my stay was. See attached photos at 4am."
