"Our host was exemplary in showing us the local area. We had a deeply moving experience at both Kataragama and Tissamaharama. Pradath is an excellent resource for All things Sri Lanka. The accommodations are first rate. Big comfortable bed. Modern shower and tub. A/C and Wi-fi work great. Excellent meals prepared. It is the perfect spot to retreat in the evening. We heartily recommend it and will hopefully return. "

"We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. On leaving, they were able to arrange transport to our next hotel. The recently extended and beautifully decorated hotel is located in a quiet area...

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the safaris organized by the lodge, who supplies rangers in addition to drivers in the safari vehicles. We opted to add an optional safari to increase our chances of seeing the elephants and leopards. "Majatalo oli pieni, siinä näytti olevan vain kaksi huonetta (jotka molemmat olivat isoja). Sijainti oli syrjäinen, mutta hyvä Yalan kansallispuistoa ajatellen. Syrjäisen sijainnin vuoksi oli käytännössä pakko syödä majatalossa. Sieltä sai ruokaa tilaamalla sen etukäteen. Ruoka ei ollut mitenkään ihmeellistä, esim. kana oli kuivaa. "Brilliant guest house, with pool! We saw langur monkeys whilst in the pool, huge bats flying off from the lake and a monitor lizard on the way back from lunch.
