Hotel Mürren Palace

"We absolutely loved our stay here and would be back in a heartbeat. The staff were wonderful and helpful and we loved our omelettes and fresh pancakes for breakfast. It was great to use the spa facilities after a day out exploring. The train station is nearby as is the cable car so was nice to use either modes of transport down to Lauterbrunnen and to Schiltorn. Perfect 👌"

"We stayed here for one night. This hotel is in Tasch town and right in front of train station. You need train from Tasch to Zermott to go see Matterhorn. This hotel location being in front of train station/parking lot is very convenient to go to Zermott town. The hotel also offers parking for CHF10 for guests less than the public parking which is for CHF 17. Room was clean and spacious with private patio/balcony. Breakfast so also good. Highly recommended."

"This hotel is on one end of the several blocks long high mountain village of Murren. To get to the village from Lauterbrunnen it is most convenient to use the postbus and then the aerial cableway that continues on to the Piz Gloria. Travel one stop to Murren on this large safe aerial car. The Alpenrue hotel is next to the station. There. Is very little noise from the cableway and none at night. We had 3 excellent breakfasts; croissants, cheese, meat, coffee and juice. Wonderful ! We also had 2 dinners and and an Irish coffee on the public balcony overlooking the alps. The staff were helpful, spoke English and were attentive. The village grocery and many interesting shops were on the level and an easy walk from hotel. Our room was very recently renovated and looked brand new. It was spacious with a magnificent balcony overlooking the mountains. We had a wonderful time in Murren and the Alpenrue. PS. You do not have to be young and fit to enjoy this destination. Reserve today !!"

"The Hotel Ermitage was great in every way. The hotel staff was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, personable, and helpful. The quality of the accommodations was excellent; clean and well attended. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Oeschinensee Gondola and within walking distance of the town center. Very peaceful. Overall, it was a great experience."
