"Great hotel for price, staff was amazing, my only concern was it’s a couple of blocks outside downtown area and I didn’t love walking back at night with my daughter. Loved their free pastries and well stocked small shop. Would definitely stay again, very close to train station"

"The hotel and restaurant was extremely nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The view of Lake Laguna is amazing. If you’re going there to “stay”, it’s perfect. However, I’m not sure why this property shows on Expedia when searching for hotels around Lake Como. The property is about 35 miles from Como city and the last six (6) miles are treacherous. The roads are narrow and a number of switchback turns on the section of roads. The road makes traveling in the area difficult. I can’t imagine the road during winter months."

"The hotel was conveniently located so you could walk into como city, to the ferry stop or to the train station. The food was very nice, we had the hotel breakfast each day and also ate in 2 of the restaurants and at the poolside bar. The rooms were comfortable and well cleaned with an evening turn service as well. The pool area was lovely, great pool with an amazing view of the lake plus very cold so great for cooling down after a hot day. Would highly recommend."

"Great location near Bellagio but far enough away to avoid the crowds. We enjoyed the pool and pool bar as well as the well furnit gym. The hotel staff were very helpful, always available and extremely accommodating in helping us plan our time in Lake Como. We ate lunch and dinner at the property and both experiences were excellent, the staff service level was too notch and the food and ingredients for both lunch and dinner were outstanding. Monica in guest services was very helpful in making recommendations on dinners and shopping in town and every single person at the hotel was focused on creating a great experience. I would highly recommend."

"Great location overlooking the water. Walkable and great city. Super easy to take ferries to other cities like Bellagio. The ferry is literally across the street. This was our favorite spot (hotel and location) of the Italy tour."

"Rooms need a little upgrading, AC was struggling and the mattress was closer to an ironing board. Breakfast compared to other hotels we stayed at was somewhat bland. Location was fantastic and convenient. Pool was a good added amenity to get some respite from the summer heat"
Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni

"We stayed here for four nights —-booked two rooms for our family. Some of the highlights include: 1) great, fantastic location which is short walking distance to ferry, shops and restaurants. 2) we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and beautiful swimming pool every day. 3) super comfortable beds and well air conditioned rooms. 4) staffs at the breakfast, pool and concierge are super attentive, warm and helpful. The concierge booked a private boat tour for us and provided useful advices on day trips and ferry schedules. The only and the biggest low light was that the casual restaurant (La Goletta) was super disappointing. The food was boring, plain, and poorly prepared . The restaurant waiters were cold and stern. Given the price, the restaurant felt way below our expectation. Recommend to stay at the hotel but eat elsewhere."
