Great Family Resort Stay in Gapyeong

This is an excellent resort stay for family of five - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We were welcomed by our warm & hospitable host James and he explained and showed us around the interesting places around the resort. I drove directly from Incheon airport in the morning, and this location is an excellent stop-over at Gapyeong if you are planning to visit Petite France and Nami Island.

Fantastic Relaxing Getaway!

An extremely long overdue review for such an excellent place! Ethren Resort is your go to place in Korea for a relaxing getaway! When we got there it was really quiet and peaceful, our room had floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the lake. We were amazed at the beautiful sunset and the frozen lake with little duckies in the early morning! Our initial plan was to visit Nami Island, the Garden of Morning Calm and Le Petite France but the room was so comfy that we decided just to stay in. When we were checking out James offered us a lift out and even to hold on to our luggages while we went to Nami Island! (Thank you James!!!) Our only regret was that we only booked 1 night. We will definitely be returning to stay for a much longer time!

bring your own food! apparently at korean resorts you bring your own (or pre-order a meal). there is nowhere nearby to order a delivery. the staff were really helpful Let us join them for staff dinner. The owner, james, took us on a river trip on hisspeedboat - fantastic! Loved the modern design of the apartment (201), which had huge windows and a river view. i hope to goback again one day.
