The beds are hard and uncomfortable, the room was not clean, and upper management does not care about your experience. "Got there a little earlier than expected, so I decided to give them a call and ask if a room was available. Worker name Pam, was very rude and had an awful attitude. We were able to get a room, but once we got there the attitude was worse with the huffing and puffing. She might’ve rough morning but she was VERY nasty & I didn’t appreciate that at all. Definitely not going back at all!"

The reason for 3 stars is I was sold a “partial ocean view room” and I got a frosted glass slider, bolted shut, overlooking the buildings HVAC systems. "Terrible location very far from the beach at least a 25-minute drive"

"The elevators were slow and some broken. They wouldn’t let you bring a cooler to the pool but the drink stand( Tipsy Turtle) kept closing. It made no sense. Also you had to wait until 9am to sit at the pool. Fire alarm went off and it smelled like smoke but after we evacuated no one communicated what happened. "The hotel was moldy and had mildew. Was not clean at all. We complained about the original room they gave of because of the rotten smell and got an attitude from the front desk. They did change our room to a slightly better room but it was still nasty "

"The waterpark (slides, pool, kiddie pool) area was wonderful! Very family friendly. Staff was kind. We loved the pier as well. Had a flatbread from the restaurant that was great. The only thing we noticed was the walls were thin. We could easily hear our neighbors who were not loud people. Definitely a disappointment considering how expensive it is to stay here. But overall we loved it."

"The beach was under construction during our stay, which certainly wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the crew worked around the clock making it hard to sleep sometimes. Had to go to the desk & trade our dirty towels for clean ones, they don’t provide housekeeping services or bring clean towels to the room. "If you can get through the smell of marijuana and people yelling down the hallway, pounding on doors from midnight until 1 AM, you will find yourself in a room that was in disrepair. There were no plug-ins in the bathroom, half the lighting worked, there were stains on the main door and headboards of the beds, a broken chair at the desk, and water damage on the wall by the main window. The positive is that even though the beds were small, they were comfortable, and there was a nice 55-inch TV....

"Very clean room and property, beach access was great, only issue was the room stayed damp and wet the whole time, they needed a dehumidifier, the floor was wet and had to be careful walking, smoke alarm went off, battery died, was replaced very quickly"
