Street parking only. No face-to-face check in, Yes all done through text message. It’s appears to be a very old house that was renovated into a small hotel. There is only one staircase and it’s very steep. The room was adequate but did not have any USB ports so you had to have your own adapter to charge your phone and I did not have an adapter so I could not charge my phone. Nice Mountain View from my room. rooms need to be modernized and I don’t think I will stay there again. Also, I believe it was overpriced for the standards of the facility.

Hi Juli: We communicate to please let us know if need anything anytime. We want your stay to be stress free, have what u need while staying with us. Phone service doesn’t always work well in our part of the wilderness, so we ensure communication via text which works usually 100%. Cindy the mgr lives on 3rd floor to be personally available anytime a guest needs. Just let us know. We r always cleaning, finessing the property. The 1902 historic building was in full restoration for 2 full years ground up.I added many plug ins in all rooms, along with brand new wiring, plumbing, & other fresh updates. We do have USB adapters we used to keepIn rooms, but to keep them located in place, we keep them with mgr to have readily available when/if a guest needs one. We didn’t hear from you. Being from 1902, I added private bathrooms to 10 suites, hence no room for elevator, so yes there is stairs from the ole days. We assist if anyone needs help with luggage up the stairs. My suites have kitchens, quality items used throughout the building, yet my prices r comparable to a plain ole motel room. Also know when u use booking services they charge a bit more for their service to pay for their services, that gets added onto your room price, more than if u book direct with a property. Once again we appreciate to solve an issue for a guest right away, just need to know. Thank u

Awesome location right next to Yellowstone NP entrance. Remodel is very well done and the most beautiful shower I’ve ever seen. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Gardiner. Pleasantly unique and quaint. Don’t let “alley entrance” detour you. :)

Hello Amy. We happy u came too, & appreciate the ole place done up as it should be, restored from its 1902 creation. The shower rocks came from Yellowstone River, a local & I spent a lot of time adding showers to each room all different. :-). Love your words, Pleasantly Unique & goes well with Beautifully Wild. The hotel is country decor and very clean. It is self check in so we never saw any staff members, which was fine. The view was AMAZING! The kitchen was well stocked for the two of us. Overall a great place to stay.

The absolutely most perfect place to stay! It is more like a fully furnished airbnb not a hotel. If we’re ever back in the area, I will definitely try to book here first!

Beautiful stay, towels smelled a little funky, checkout is at 10am which is earlier than most checkouts we have been to. Check is is 4pm and was super easy. Beautiful little home stay, however I was very careful to not make too much noise with the littles, we like to let the kids be free and out of courtesy to others staying, I was cautious not to let them yell, you can hear people walking, its a beautiful stay for those that want a very quiet space. Not reccomended for children. I have a 4 month old and 8 year old girl. They did goofld staying quiet but just want to warn other parents. Also has a cute kitchen, microwave, and stove which was super cute.

We did get a new wash machine, using Tide, hmm, not smell the funk, but we will change detergent. Sorry about that. Thank you being in tune to lil ones, wished you didn't have to be so cautious. We appreciate you coming, and we all understand children at play, so no worries. Have a wonderful 2024.

Took 2 full long years to save this ole place that survived 6 town fires. Was meant to be still standing for us all to enjoy including the animals loving the yard :-)Thank u for coming.

It’s probably the loss of workers like everywhere. It’s why I choose to stay small so don’t have to rely on too many workers. :-) So happy I put kitchens in all the rooms. Thank u for coming.

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. We enjoyed all the Yellowstone decor and antiques. Although we only stayed 1nite, You provided everything needed for an extended stay——with one exception—a comfortable chair or two for reading or watching TV. I would also like to have the TV remote sanitized. (Ours had some unidentifiable blobs and was sticky). Other than that the room was very clean.

Great location overlooking the northern entrance into Yellowstone National Park. The history of the property makes the experience even more special. Great instructions and recommendations were given.

That is not normal to not have those items. We always provide plenty, you are the first, and of course alerting us we give right away what’s needed. Was regular ladies day off, the new person must have forgotten to scan properly, got busy and forgot to supply. We apologize, they felt bad. Thank u for coming.

Nice property. Right next to entrance to Yellowstone. Nicely decorated. Stay was more fun and interesting than at a typical hotel.

Highly recommend this hotel
Fantastic old hotel. King bed a dream of comfort. Shower etc gorgeous, everything you could want in a vacation room - cold big fridge- coking stove, wine glasses, coffee etc. quiet with gorgeous view of mountains.

This place is real special. A landmark property with lots of history and character. The room was perfect and lots of interest with the antiques and kitchenette. Very very comfortable. Walking distance to everything! The on-site manager was totally available and fun to talk to. We love this place!

Highly recommend!
This was our favorite stay in our trip to Yellowstone. The room (more like small apartment) was really adorable on top of having everything that we needed, including comfy beds. The owner bent over backwards to make sure that we enjoyed our stay given the north entrance road closure, with terrific recommendations for Yellowstone tours, rafting, and hot spring pools. Gardiner is a great, resilient town with tons to do!
