"Stayed overnight at a very good rate while attending a concert at the P&J nearby. Very warm welcome from receptionist, room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good if a little chaotic when so many arrived at once, but staff were excellent and efficient in dealing with the rush. Very impressed and would definitely stay again."

"Wanted to use the gym, didnt as it was only open after 8am due to it being "amongst rooms and it makes noise"....move it then! Room was clean and spacious, it was cold on entry, but did warm up with heating. Gym not being open was a disappointment. Website said open from 7am, staff said not open until 8am."

" Karolynn and Chris were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. The WiFi was the best I've ever had in a hotel, which was surprising given it's rural location. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide choice. "Really lovely locally owned and run hotel. Our kingsize upgraded room was stunning, and massive. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The homemade shortbread in the room was incredible, and they even refilled it when we scoffed it all! Breakfast was tasty, and the hot food was made to order.
