"Originally I had wanted to cancel my reservation but in glad I didn’t. Beautiful room, nice view. Although it’s a high traffic area, it’s was really quiet. Rooms were very clean. I look forward to staying there again. Also staff was so nice ! In all areas everyone you encountered was so welcoming and nice. "

Be prepared, however, for a mild surprise at check-in: a $45 "Resort Fee is added to your bill! My wife asked "Where is the beach?" (Ha-Ha)."

"Wonderful Marriott staff, nice room, decent facility. Near port authority which unfortunately is a magnet for homeless people and characters harassing you for money. NY is not safe and no police presence. The hotel’s fine. NY is not."
