"We were offered a ground floor or balcony room and opted for ground floor as it was only one night. Everything well, except the door not locking, and missing a bit of the fresh air that would have been had on the balcony. Average breakfast, good parking, average place."

"The hotel is first rate. We had balcony rooms on the second floor and they were large (almost suites) with beautiful bathrooms. The hotel was still very lush even in mid-October. The restaurant is the real gem of the property. It firmly deserves it's one Michelin star. We did have dinner there one night and though expensive it was one of the 3 best meals I have ever eaten. "Greater variety (for English speaking channels) on TV, but everything else about the hotel by far out weighed such a miner irritation. The Staff are attentive and friendly, accommodation excellent, restaurant superb. We had a wonderful 4 days."
