"It was fine for a one night stay next to the airport. The shower could have been a bit cleaner and the mattress was a bit too firm. Very convenient for an early morning flight."

"Modern clean room with comfy beds,daughter and I had dinner in the restaurant and a bottle of wine we were able to take back to our room. Breakfast was great and being able to walk a short distance right into the airport terminal was unique. Very good value for the money"

"Rooms and inn itself were great. Service at dinner was extremely slow to the point where we had to flag down a different staff member every time we needed something basic like getting water, ordering dessert, or even paying our bill. The restaurant also had the most uncomfortable restaurant chairs ever. Definitely not what we were hoping for after a long hard day of hiking up and down Conic Hill. It literally hurt more to sit than stand"

"Nice breakfast, The property looks the same as it did 5 years ago and has lost that cosy feel. It needs a little TLC and it seems to have lost the ‘Scottish roots’ Staff are very polite but wouldn’t say friendly with almost a passive agressive attitude. "

"Hotel and grounds are rather run down but trying. Bathroom in particular had seen better days. Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room name was Skye. The view was amazing and it was great watching Ferries come and go. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on food. Is a good 1/2 hour walk into town. "There was no restaurant as advertised on website and on hotel notice board. Room very tatty decor. Heater in bathroom and bedroom didn’t work. Window cracked and others filthy. There was also an 18 birthday party below our room with noisy music going on to 1.00am. No way is this a 4 star hotel. Also info given to us about nearby eating places was incorrect. We complained to managress who in fairness was very apologetic and refunded our stay."
