"The staff is super polite and friendly and helpful. There is not scheduled room cleaning so you have to inconveniently call at least a day ahead for it which was very unpleasant for me. The elevator is incredibly archaic and its charm wears off quick especially if you have a lot of things you have to carry with you. Perhaps the worst part was we had cold water for a day, in which the staff fixed while we were out. The three stars is mainly for the staff which were outstanding but overall I would not stay here again. "

"Last moment reservation when I didnt make my flight. Great hostel, be aware of the flight of stairs however. Im 67 yrs old and definirely tweeked my knee going up. Other than that, great experience."

"First and foremost the Television had very poor service. The hotel wifi had very poor service. I tried to use the hotel wifi to utlize my labtop but the signal was very weak. I was very disappointed in my stay with this hotel. My next stay in San Deigo is going to in another hotel. I rather pay for great ammenities."
