"The room was clean and comfortable. What was really lacking was the upkeep of the exterior. The yard was overgrown, weeds were growing throughout the grass and through the steps and deck. The porch which looks inviting in the pictures was badly in need of paint and bushes were overgrown. Overall, the feeling was that we’d arrived at a dilapidated unkempt place in a town where everything else is pristine. I know the owner has mentioned that he likes a natural and environmentally friendly environment, which I appreciate, but there’s a difference between natural and run down. When you pull up to the place you’re spending money to spend a few days, you don’t want to feel that no attention has been paid to make the property look attractive. Zero curb appeal."

The chalet was clean, cozy, and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the beautiful Gaspésie region. The location is fantastic, with stunning scenery and a peaceful atmosphere that made the stay even more enjoyable. The chalet was well-equipped and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I especially appreciated the privacy and quiet surroundings. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, this was a great place to stay, offering excellent value and a memorable experience. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
