"Loving the wood floor. most of hotels I've stayed used carpet, which is not friendly to allergic people, and besides, wood floor can be better cleaned up than carpet floor.
Bed is bigger than I expected, some hotels say queen size but actually felt like double size, this hotel has the true queen size bed, pillow are comfortable as well.
Bathroom: love the rain shower, plenty of counter space, towels are big and thick but slightly harsh instead of soft, shampoo and body wash smell ok.
ac/heating: pretty quiet.
windows have sheer and shade double layer, both operated by buttons, blackout well,
soundproof not so good, can easily hear the neiboring room shower on.
housekeeping was ok: in the morning when we went out, only half paper roll left, but when we came back to the hotel room at night, no more paper roll provided, later we ran it out, i need to go to the front desk to ask for one; also the housekeeping didn't do a good job at making bed;
hotel location: wonderful, right in Gatlinburg downtown, 2mi several min driving into the NP, while at night it's quiet enough so we don't hear the downtown noise.
parking: plenty of parking spots, there are also certain covered parking, kind of small and a little difficult to backout, but it's covered parking so not too much to complain, on the Expedia it didn't mention if parking cost extra or not, it actually is included in the $20/day extra charge."
