"This is an inexpensive older hotel on the old county road that has been replaced by a parallel road. You should expect the furniture to be old-style and heavily worn. My toilet and sink were very new. The mattress was comfortable. They have a machine that dispenses coffee, and surprisingly it was plenty bold. Unlike some hotels that now only offer a Duvet, this hotel still uses separate sheets, blankets. I consider this a good thing because having only a Duvet is too hot."

"I booked a double room. Picture shows two beds for this room. Since I was bringing my son on this trip I needed the second bed. I arrive and they tell me I booked the wrong room as this room only has a double bed. Which is equivalent to a queen bed. Last time I checked beds were King , Queen , Full and Twin size. "I have stayed at hotels offering free breakfasts before, but by comparison, those free breakfasts couldn't hold a candle to what ChefRobert at the Holiday Day Inn Express BDL, put on! "We have stayed here before and loved it so we booked again. This time we got a room on the first floor next to the ice machine. A wedding party was going on which was excessively noisy but honestly the ice machine was the bigger issue. Couldn't Believe it was across the hall from us. To top it off the TV they were having issues so only had 4 tv stations. Again nice hotel and great location so don’t look past it just make sure your not next to the ice machine or first floor."

"The hotel is about 5 minutes from Bradley. I arrived at 11 pm and waited only 5 or 10 minutes for the shuttle. This is a typical Springhill with a large room. The property is clean and well-maintained. The staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast is a typical Springhill breakfast with a mixture of hot and cold items. My only complaint is with the shuttle pick up to the airport. I signed up for a 9:55 am pick up. At 10:10, I asked the desk if the shuttle was on the way. They called and then...
