"Very friendly and helpful staff. I was there when it was really hot outside and my a/c somehow wasn't working properly. The problem was solved very quickly."

"Overall, our stay was good, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The lobby staff were not very friendly and did not seem very patient with international guests who, like me, were unfamiliar with the area and needed some guidance. A little more kindness and understanding would make a big difference. The air conditioning in our suite was not strong enough for such a large room, making it less comfortable than expected. The breakfast was also quite expensive for what was offered....

"Staff was excellent and always helpful. The location is superb if you're in Dresden for cultural activities, e.g., the opera and museums. Public transport was also readily available. Surrounded by many restaurants so lots of choices are available. The breakfast was ample, but very predictable food choices. Will definitely stay at Amedia again on my next trip to Dresden."

"The hotel is located near Elbe river. It is close to supermarkets and metro. The location is excellent. The room has access to a balcony, which is great to enjoy nature. We took walks around the hotel and tool a ferry to a beer garden across the river. The hotel is also close to an amazing local ice-cream shop. The room is nice. Everything is great."

"Very nice and clean accomodation for the price, right in the center of the town. Bathroom is big and hotel room is quite modern. Only downside is the lack of a room access keycard as the hotel still uses the classic key to unlock your door. In 2026 I think all hotels no matter what location should implement keycards to access all hotel facilities as it’s more secure and easy maintenance for the staff and is just expected these days."

"Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine große und leckere Auswahl. D Der Wellnessbereicz stand wegen Renovierungsarbeiten nicht zur Verfügung. Darüber wurdr ich im Vorfeld zwar informiert, allerdings nur mit der Information, dass nur für Sauna nicht zur Verfügung stand. Bei Ankunft würde mir dann mitgeteilt, dass auch der Pool und Whirlpool nicht zur Verfügung stehen. "

"The hotel is in a great location, central to the old town and both walking distance and on the tram route to the inner neustadt, which was really fun to visit. The train station was about a 20 minute walk away. Everything was clean and modern in a historic building. Breakfast was great, complete with complementary mimosas. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend."
