"Kiosk to check in with a very rude customer representative. Foul smell throughout hotel. No freezer in mini fridge was told I could get one for a extra fee. Hairs in the towels."

"Rooms were very dirty. Moisture on the ceiling. Floors sticky. Mold in the corners. Showers tiny and gross. The lobby feels like something out of a horror movie. Fitness room was legitimately empty. Bathrooms in the lobby closed for maintenance. Would not recommend ever!"

"The pictures of the place look great online. When we got there, the place was a total dump. We didn't even get out of the car. I would prefer to sleep in my car than this place. Not in this neighborhood though. The whole area is bad. We went to another motel down the road and witnessed a drug deal. Do yourself a favor and drive 10 minutes to the casino district and spent another 25 bucks a night like we did. It was too late to cancel our reservation, so we ate the cost. It was worth it though...

"The property was listed as newly renovated, and it certainly was not! Only the flooring looked new. The pictures online do not match what you actually get. Bed very hard and simply one mattress on a metal frame. Doors/locks did not feel secure. Very poorly insulated, we could hear every little noise from other rooms and the road. The first room we went into was so strong cleaning product/chemical smelling that it made eyes water and induced an asthma attack. Second room was stale old smoke...

"We were visiting Rockford in June 2026 for my IronMan 70.3 triathlon event. Our group had little kids (age 7 & 4) and grandparents (70+). Checkin was very smooth. I dont recall the name of staff member to give a shoutout, she was very nice. The hotel is about a 20 min drive from the venue of IronMan start, but it's in an area with many other hotels and restaurants, so it was convenient from that perspective. "The property is in bad shape on the outside, but our room was spotless, it had everything working like it should. Really happy with our stay."

"The smell from air freshener was overwhelmingly strong. We had to sleep with window open to be able to breathe. There were no towels in bedroom when we arrived. The staff did provide us with towels. "Just nothing to complain. The room was clean and facilities were well maintained. I spent 2 nights and I left early morning for both days. So I could not try breakfast. But the coffee was tasty even in early morning."
