Cute stay

The hotel itself is very convenient and nice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the internet not working. I intentionally chose hotels that had parking and wifi because I'm teaching an online course while away from the states. They did remove the 1 night parking fee because of this so between using some international data and using wifi at the very cute restaurant at the top of the hill, it worked out.

Good location, nothing else was good.

Great location, but WiFi didn't work, refrigerator didn't work, Aircon wasn't good enough, and bed was old and not comfortable. Very friendly reception but I've told them three times the refrigerator didn't work and they told me three times that they would fix it, but nothing happened. I wouldn't stay there again.

This property was a DUMP!!! I have booked multiple properties in many locations through Expedia and have come to expect that anything in their list would provide a good experience. This is NOT the case with Hotel Europa. There was no air-conditioning in the rooms -- the unit was there but the control knob was broken and it did not work. We kept the window open, but it was loud and noisy much of the night. There was no WI-FI on the property at all. The hotel clerk told us that the internet provider had recently been changed and that there had been no WI-FI for several weeks. We had to go to a local restaurant to get WI-FI so our phones would work. One person in our party was flying back to the US from Genoa and he could not get airline notifications because there was no WI-FI at Hotel Europa. I chose this property because it was close to the train station, but I am highly disappointed that Hotel Europa is still in your list for Genoa with a 3.6/5 rating and a "good" beside it. This property should be removed from your list. This has made me wary of actually believing the Expedia ratings and I no longer plan to book any of my travel accommodations through Expedia because of this terrible experience.

À éviter si vous voulez du confort !

Nous sommes tombés sur cet hôtel de Gênes car nous cherchions un hôtel abordable, près du train, du centre-ville et des services. Dès notre arrivé, nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise de constater que l'air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas, pas plus que le wifi (qui pour nous est essentielle vu que nous n’avons pas de donnée à l’étranger). Nous nous sommes faites dire simplement que c’est “broken definitely”, sans plus. Par chance, l’employé de nuit, a eu la gentillesse de nous prêter un ventilateur, mais pousser de l’air chaud et humide ça reste que ça dort très mal…Néanmoins, le petit déjeuner inclus fut une belle surprise et le service offert fut agréable.

Cordialità e servizio

Hotel situato in posizione strategica. Il personale è molto accogliente ed è sicuramente un valore aggiunto. Le camere sono pulite e il contesto silenzioso. Ottimo per soggiorni di lavoro o per visitare la città se si vuol stare vicini al porto. Sicuramente consigliato.

Location is great, only a couple of minutes from the main train station and 10 mins from the cruise terminal. It is also walking distance to the city center, about 20 mins walk. Continental breakfast was nice. Room/bed were comfortable, though carpet is very old.

Nice stay at hotel Europa

We had a nice stay at the hotel, the staff was helpful and our room was clean, and we had access to a big balcony with a great view over the city and harbor. The breakfast was good - a small but good selection to choose from, and the lady at the breakfast buffet was very sweet. The hotel is very close to the train station and easy to find, which was very nice as we arrived late at night. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the constant noise from the air condition in our room. It was very effective though! I would recommend staying at the hotel.

Une belle ville qui se néglige.

J'étais à la chambre 110.Les portes de la douche sont brisées, alors je suggère de les enlever pour installer un RIDEAU. Pour le petit déjeuner ,c'est l'apothéose. Délicieux ! Le service Internet est très faible. Le signal n'est pas capté dans la chambre. Je salue les propriétaires de l'hôtel. Je vous remercie pour le séjour. La vile de Gênes est SALE. IL faut que la ville agisse.

Hotel in posizione molto comoda. La camera anche se piccolina,ma slla fine ho scelto io questa soluzione, era ben fatta. Letto comodo, bagno buono quindi molto soddisfatto. Unico problema ingresso al parcheggio, ma alla fine avevo già letto, ma nulla di impossibile anche perché appena arrivato il personale della struttura è venuto in soccorso aiutandomi nella manovra. Colazione ottima e complimenti al personale sempre molto gentile, cortese e ci ha spiegato e consigliato cosa vedere di Genova. Grazie e complimenti
