"As said before, this is my go to hotel when going to Chicago. Still will be but disappointed with my last stay. We settled in for the night and around 11:30p the TV went out. You could hear , could see the guide, could see if you open YouTube and Netflix but if you tried to go to the channel itself, whether it be regular TV or Netflix YouTube, the screen wouldn't show. Turned tv off ,tried numerous times but nothing worked. As a insomniac it wasn't the best for a TV to go out. All I could do was listen. Asked if there was a partial refund or compensation for this and the worker said she would let the manager know because I'm familiar with the manager, left my number and I never heard from them. There were other issues with the room as well but I won't discuss here because I do like the hotel and the staff. Whether I could get a compensation for that trip, maybe an upgrade on our next visit, anything, I would have appreciated a phone call or email. I will would recommend this hotel to others. They are a great hotel and amazing manager with great staff."

"Our stay at Eaglewood Resort & Spa, was extremely disappointing and disruptive. We arrived around 11 PM to find the heat in our room not working. A technician attempted a fix, but soon after, a loud alarm began sounding from the heating unit cabinet. When we called the front desk, we were told no technicians were available and were asked to go back to the desk to get a new room key late at night, carrying all our luggage. At the front desk, the staff member was dismissive, spoke over us, and handled the situation unprofessionally. When we raised concerns about his tone, he became visibly agitated, even kicking doors. This behavior was shocking and unacceptable. A manager eventually intervened to de-escalate the situation. Unfortunately, the second room had the exact same issue no heat initially, followed by the same alarm once it was turned on. The only workaround was to either tolerate excessive heat or turn it off completely. By the time this was “resolved,” it was nearly 2:30 AM. We lost most of the night trying to address basic room issues and got less than 3 hours of sleep. For a first-time stay, this experience fell far below expectations. We request a formal response and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, lack of professionalism, and failure to provide a functional room. "

"Front staff was so friendly and changed our room after we asked if our room was a long walk. I have mobility issues. They immediately offered to give us a closer room! Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Will stay there again without hesitation. "

"The front lobby looks great but the hotel rooms could be better. Although, it’s clean; however, the rooms specially where I stayed could have been improved or renovated. The closet doors wouldn’t close properly unless done certain manner. Bath rooms don’t have exhaust fan, which typically I guess of most hotels and there are old patches and cracks that could have been fixed. The pictures of the model rooms from the website is completely different and deceiving. Moreover, the rooms could have made it more sound proof because not only you can hear loud footsteps from above from but also noice from outside the building and inside the hallways. A disappointing.
