"The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The hotel welcomed my dog for no additional fee. It was pretty quiet so she wasn't too on edge which helped. There's not a fenced area for them to run free a bit which would be a nice addition but not a deal breaker. No breakfast but right next door to McD's. My only complaint was there was a VERY strong marijuana smell in the hallway which was fun to explain to my kids. It could still be smelled in our room but only slightly. We'd still stay...

"There were several maintenance issues when we stayed there 3/26/2026. The next morning, there was nothing to drink at breakfast and no yogurt--only some fried potatoes and scrambled eggs in addition to standard continental offerings (without milk). They were short-handed on staff, too, although the one we saw did the best he could. "

"Everything was acceptable except they replaced the shower door with a curtain rod but not remove all of the hardware from the shower door which left the opening unsightly and posed a safety risk if a person were to catch their foot on the now exposed hardware. "

"This is a great property! Close (walking distance) to shopping and restaurants, and an easy on/off the highway. It is bright and clean. I also love that there's a bar and restaurant in the restaurant! I would like to highlight the night front desk gentleman, Mike. The air was not properly working in our room. When I called down to ask about it, he was extremely kind and courteous, came immediately up to our room to check to see if he could get it working. When he could not get it to work...

"Paper this walls and very loud adults in next room until late. No shampoo, only soap. No hairdryer. Plenty of towels. Mattress soft and lumpy. Big refrigerator and microwave. Small parking spaces. Next to airport and highway, so noisy all the time. Overpriced but was close to my meeting place."

"Like other review air freshener in lobby too strong. Room was fine. Location of the hotel not the best. Right off the highway and behind a gas station and the streets had a lot of motorcyclists in the area racing during the evening. I see they are redeveloping the property adjacent so hopefully that will improve the area overall. It admittedly did not feel the safest. The Haymarket food/cafe next to the property was very nice so hopefully the general area improves around the hotel."

"Scheduled a 4-day stay, had a family emergency the first night and they wouldn't refund me for 3 nights! Not even one refund. Terrible customer service. Couldn't get the manager on the phone for 3 days. Showers are terrible. "
