"Reasonably priced ( total rarity) and worth at least 3 stars for that alone. It's what it is in Manhattan. Tiny room but it provides ALL you'll need. Including a couple cold waters and chips and NO ONE does that. Super clean. Close to EVERYTHING. Staff was ok; stayed out of way. And that's very cool. I've stayed in a half dozen or so hotels in Manhattan in the last year or so and This place is the sole hotelier that didn't monkey with the charges trying to gouge me. Sad but true. Props to...

"Hotel Belleclaire was a wonderful stay and I can’t wait to come back! Stayed at Belleclaire for my bachelorette weekend and it was the perfect location. We loved the complimentary wine and jazz evening in the hotel bar and loved the breakfast bakery. The hotel staff were AMAZING and can’t thank Maria, Benedict, Amanda, and Sean for making the weekend so so special. Maria helped us get into our room early after an early traveling morning. "I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel! It was actually QUIET for sleeping, a 3 min walk from the Empire State Building, and a 5 min walk from the subway.
The staff were delightful; I got a free upgrade to a family suite. I'm not a city person but this hotel made me want to come back to NYC!"

"Genuinely the staff was wonderful and the only reason I would consider going back. The front doorman was so helpful and kind to me and my friends and helped us get a flat rate taxi to the airport. Really loved the staff everyone was so accommodating and nice. Hotel wise it’s fine.. It’s a loud street, the carpet moves as you walk, and it’s a very small bathroom with a weird shower set up. Overall it was fine for the price plus you get 10% off at some of the restaurants near by."
