"The room was good. Needs a bit of maintenance. The view was absolutely wonderful. The door handle lock to the balcony was broken, but since we were on the third floor, I was not too worried. There were ants in the bathroom and in some other parts of the room. The location was great. The beach is right across from the lodge. And the fairgrounds are very near and an easy walk to the boat launches. The breakfast is ok. There is syrup, but no waffle makers or frozen waffles/pancakes to use it on....

"Expedia had such a great price that I booked the king Suite. We had a fairly large sitting area with a couch, desk coffee table and large tv. We also had a floor to ceiling window. Our bedroom was totally separate from the rest of the suite. Large closet and comfortable bed. The best part was the indoor pool. My son and I loved it."

"I’m a travel advisor so usually I take pictures of the room I’m staying in, but this was an impromptu trip and I was with my kids, so I didn’t. The pull out bed (on the bottom of the couch) was dirty, and so was the couch (crumbs, lint, dirt) so we didn’t use it. That wasn’t a big deal, but it was annoying because I had three kids with me and planned on using the couch as a bed. There was a moth in my room. "I was extremely surprised by this hotel. I was expecting very little as I knew it was older and the price was so good. But to my surprise, it was so clean and every time we came through the lobby or the hallway, there was always staff cleaning. Very impressive! I observed one of the staff members wiping down the breakfast area tables all the way down to the bottom where you rest your feet. "This is our second stay here. The first wasn’t horrible but it was inexpensive so I couldn’t complain. My second visit was different. I booked a room that stated there was 1 king bed and slept 3. Sounded perfect for 3 of us. That detail is incorrect. The lady at the desk looked at me like I had three heads. I asked for a rollaway.
