Secluded cottage in Tanybryn offers hiking paths through pristine bushland. Cosy up by the fireplace after exploring nearby Wongarra Reserve, then wake to birdsong with espresso in the garden's picnic area.
"This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them.
We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin...
