"An outstanding experience for a four night stay. Right in the heart of the city, whereas Marine Drive hotels require time and transport. The staff at reception, housekeeping, dining are complete professionals who genuinely care about guests' experiences. Elegant rooms with many mirrors and, count 'em, 15 total light switches. Immaculate. Thoughtful touches. Prompt in room dining service. Breakfast in Shamiana restaurant beyond delicious with so much variety. But it is the people who make The Taj so memorable. This hotel is a sanctuary in crazy busy Mumbai. We recommend it highly."

"The room was spotless, the staff were very welcoming, the air conditioning and the lift were a welcome treat. The amenities were very thoughtful. The only things that surprised me was that the room had no windows and the wifi did not work. The location was excellent, a very walkable area. "

"The hotel is a scam, first they didnt allowed me to check.in and asked for extra money, then the room was not even 50sqmt and it was shared wash room. Not worthy. Need my refund back. "
