We were looking with our kids at their cows in the pasture, and the owner(?) came out and gave our kids food to feed the cows. It was a great start, and it only got better from there. "Booked an evening meal with the hotel on line, but discovered that it was not open that evening. Recommended local restaurant within 8 mins walk was excellent. Breakfast mean - no fresh rolls and little choice. Guess we were out of season! Word of warning: depending on your direction of travel to this hotel, Mont Blanc Tunnel is completely closed from 2 September-16 December 2024. Ultra convenient for Mont Blanc ski lift. "
