"Hotel is well situated at the harbour front, with numerous restaurants nearby. It’s within walking distance to downtown Halifax and the citadel. The staff members are courteous and helpful. The rooms are well appointed."

"There was no room service. Could order from restaurant but no room delivery so had to pick up food. The service was fast and they called when it was ready for pick up. For the cost of the room, it would have been nice to have room service."

"Proximity to everything… Comfortable room with a very good tv that had all the sports channels… I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I ever have the good fortune of returning to Halifax, I will be booking to stay there again."

"Marriott Courtyard Downtown Halifax is, as named, in downtown Halifax. It’s in a great location, close to the Citadel and harbor. Good restaurants nearby and you can buy a quick breakfast at the bistro downstairs."

"The rooms were good and spacious - a little dated. No slippers or robes provided. towels are not fluffy. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing the street and the street lights are super bright. Breakfast was adequate and not late enough - weekends till 10am and weekdays till 930am. Should be later. Suite have everything you need. Did not use gym. At least 5 blocks up from the Waterfront area. Lots of restaurants and bars and entertainment around."

"The apartment is modern, spacious, and very clean with lots of closet space and super comfy bed. It was quiet in our unit facing Barrington. The one negative was the lack of a full length mirror especially since we needed to dress for special events. But otherwise great accommodations in an ideal location downtown."
