"Lovely room, warm comfy bed. Slight lack of clothes storage (some hanging space but no shelves/drawers). Expensive I know but some of the window frames need replacing. Friendly staff and great food - breakfast and dinner."

"We only stayed the one night, so didnt get chance to use the facilities. Although we didnt have a dog, there was plenty of evidence that the hotel was very dog friendly. We had a very nice double room on the ground floor. It was clean and welcoming. There was a variety of chairs to sit on. Much more comfy than squatting on the side of the bed. "We've stayed at the Greenbank multiple times over the past couple of years so I feel like I can give a fair review of a typical experience. The staff are an absolute highlight: always friendly, polite and professional, from the desk staff to the restaurant staff to the cleaners. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are generously sized and equipped with everything you might need for a standard stay, plus a few nice extras. I particularly appreciate the wonderful smelling toiletries...

"We ended up here by accident after being double booked at another (unrelated) hotel. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after that we quickly forgot about the ordeal from the night before ! The room was gorgeous with stunning views. The hotel and spa were clean, staff were friendly, the food was excellent. We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem and can’t wait to return! "
