"The check-in at 1am was very smooth and the guy at the desk was so processional, welcoming and smiling. We were given a room with Nile view on the 15th floor which was really nice. The room was large and bed was comfortable. There was kettle for tea/coffee and tea bags, water bottles etc; we were given more every time we requested. "Great Staff and super helpful. Location is super central but also shielded from noise etc. through being at the end of the island. Breakfast and drinks on the river terrace are great Wessam was amazingly helpful and it is no surprise that he has been at the hotel for years. I always find this hotel welcoming and simply better than other 5 star hotels in Cairo. The hotel is a great credit to the Sofitel brand."
